Mine!

Selamat Pagi Malaysia..often I am reminded of the better things in my life...my two grand daughters in Canada. And whenever I see their images, I stop what I am doing and look longingly at these two of the most precious things in my life and that is when I ask myself...what matters in my life?

Family. My own family.

On the left is Isabel. I last saw her when she came to Adelaide with her mother when she

was a year old. On the right is Sofia...who I have yet to meet. Within them they have Malay, Greek, Bugis, and Irish blood and today they are Canadians. And of course their mother, my daughter, who I have also not seen for over a decade. If I stop to think of them, I am lost. So to live, I do not think too much of them....and that way, life is manageable. Only just.

We each have our story to tell, and mine are these two grand daughters of mine and their mother...my daughter. I miss them so much.
