Anwar's credibility..

Anwar’s credibility will be judged on how well he delivers on his big promises to introduce reforms for good governance to raise the standards of integrity and accountability in ruling the country. We hope he will introduce measures for :

1) strengthening the role of parliament in protecting the supremacy of the Federal Constitution as the basis of law and order in the country.

2) implement the reforms in institutional governance to reduce corruption, cronyism, nepotism, wastage, and leakages in govt ministries and departments.

3) enforce the Treasury regulations on the awards of govt contracts for the procurement of works and supplies through open tenders and competitive bidding ;

4) ensure a multiracial approach in providing government services and assistance so as to promote a stronger sense of belonging among all races and communities ;

5) ensure freedom of speech to enable the media, the academic community and the civil society organisations to play their role as the ears and eyes of the people.
