Cakap cakap...pagi Ahad!

Despite the difficulties of blogging in Malaysia - where the authorities and their lackeys - namely MCMC, the Telcos and those despicable cyber troopers who troll our blog and Facebook sites to make life difficult for us all, I and my blogger brothers and sisters will keep blogging! We know that when it matters, what we write will find a way to get through to the people - you guys!

I often wonder how others who blog, can keep motivating themselves to continue to blog, for the plus of blogging are infinitesimally zilch. The brickbats and insults comes by the bucketful, and of course, the authorities always have you in their sights. Persons of interests...a threat to national security...a nuisance...or simply, as in my case..."to be detained upon entry". Ahh, all those words convey a multitude of sins and give us bloggers many anxieties, but WTF...who cares?

We do have our moments. For me one of those "syiok sendiri" moments comes when someone forwards me my own write, and tells me "Pak, you must read this" and I, dengan slumber aja, will ask him "Why are you sending this to me? I wrote this"...and back would come the sheepish reply "Sorry Pak, I did not know that".

Then there are the friends we make. I am now on first name basis with many of you....and dare I say it...with some delectable ladies too. Ladies who insists on calling me Pak lest I mistake their intent to be friends with benefits with me. Thank you friends for you guys do make my day.

I know my place. I know my duty is to tell the news as I see it, without fear or favor. It is a responsibility we bloggers try to do to the best of our ability, though you must, at times, forgive us when our own sentiments get in the way of telling the tales that needs telling. This morning, I had a conversation with one of my dear friends...

And the reply..

And on these thoughts we may sometimes go to write on what is now happening in our beloved Malaysia. There was a time when anyone with ties to Tun Razak and Tun Hussein Onn not only had the respect of many, but were also held in reverence because of what these two Tuns have done for King and Country. Today, because of what Najib and Hishamuddin had done, the reputation of these two families are in tatters.

I have been blogging for over twelve years. Others more. I am as eager today to write about the happenings in K Hell as I was when I started twelve years ago, and if I can, will continue to write for another decade and more. I forgot to wish you guys Selamat Pagi...but I will not forget that we must Lawan. Lawan mesti Lawan!
