Chaos and weakness within PH. PRU15 already lost?

I remember PRU14 as if it was yesterday. I am not trying to bask in the euphoria of days gone by. Neither am I desperate to conjure up the glories of PRU14 when Malaysians were united in purpose and strengthen by a solidarity of design quite unlike anything we have seen before. The reality we face today belies all that. The leader that we had then is today held in contempt by many, but certainly not by the writer of this article. Tun who pulled us together in PRU14 is now dismissed as a charlatan who destroyed the very foundation of the Pakatan Harapan he helped put together. And the dismissal of Tun, by the very people he had led in PRU14, has been done with a panache that brings up that question : by whom?

Who would want PH to be without the leader that took victory from BN in PRU14? Surely common sense will tell you that Tun’s nemesis has to be the villain he slayed in PRU 14 - UMNO and BN kan? But, so well has this slaying of Tun been done that we now think that it is we who have decided that Tun is not worthy of our thanks for the PRU14 victory over BN, and that Tun is to be blamed for the return of UMNO and BN.

So well has this be done that we think that this dismissal of Tun it is all our own work because we think that Tun is the cause of UMNO’s return to power. Umno and BN laughs at our folly and are in disbelief at their good fortune to not have their old nemesis, Tun Mahathir, to face again in PRU15.

Wake up, my friends, and understand that when the enemy of your enemy becomes also your enemy - that you have truly been fooled by your enemy! Tun is not our enemy, He is Umno’s and BN’s enemy. And making him PH enemy has been the most successful scam that the Convicted Felon, the Umno court cluster, UMNO and BN has perpetrated upon gullible Malaysians!

For sure, within PH ranks are DSAI, Rafizi, PKR, DAP, Mat Sabu and others that we can depend on - but how much weaker are we without Tun? And if Tun had the foresight and the great courage to align himself with the Opposition at PRU14, why cannot we do the same towards Tun in PRU15? Are we prepared to cut off our noses to spite our face?

Until today, all that the Opposition have been doing is geared towards appeasement to the enemies that they are facing in PRU15. An MOU entered into between PH and Ismail Sabri - an MOU that has served only Umno’s purpose and now lies in tatters because it serves Umno’s purpose that it is in tatters. What that MOU has done is to allow UMNO and BN to regroup and buy time to consolidate their strength to ready themselves for PRU15. And that is already a done deal.

And what has PH done? PH has done nothing that can match what PH once was, this close to a PRU.

No, PH has not done much. Instead, there is chaos and weakness within PH. This reality cannot be denied. Even as I write this I know that each faction within PH is thinking of themselves - not PH, not the people of Malaysia and certainly not the future of Malaysia. We are broken. We are without focus or foresight. We are waiting to be consigned to the ranks of the Opposition after PRU15.

And what sickens me to the core is the inability of so many of you to put PH, our nation and our future, before self. So many of you cannot see beyond the end of your nose. And you want PH to win Government at PRU15? Huh!

It is now 7.14 am on a Friday and I am tired and need to rest and sleep some more, if I can - but I know I cannot. How can I sleep when in just these few days we have a plethora of financial scandals perpetrated upon conglomerates and businesses by their own management. We have the Convicted Felon drawing upon his friendship of the King to flex his muscles again at us to tell us that he has the friendship of the King if needed. And we have the attacks on the last remaining bastion of truth and justice, our Courts, being led by liars and individuals who are long past their use by date.

And worse of all, we have the division and confusion within the rakyats. This has been max out not only by the tireless efforts of leaders within UMNO and BN, but also by the willing and eager assistance of so many of the rakyat who allowed themselves to be blinkered and blinded by Umno, against their own leaders: be it Tun, DSAI, the ever present "anti-Malay, anti-Islam" DAP, and the others within the PH coalition - all successfully demonized by Umno/BN to their own advantage. Not ours.

Maybe I am alone in these thoughts. Maybe I am confused and without clarity and reason when trying to make head or tail of what is happening within the ranks of the Opposition. Say what you will of those in the Opposition, especially Tun and Anwar Ibrahim, but I have just this one belief. To win PRU15, we need the same unity of purpose that existed at PRU14, but without the traitors and scums and those who have betrayed us. And if Tun Anwar and all of us, cannot put our nation and Malaysians ahead of our own individual ego and needs, then we might as well now turn our backs on Malaysia, for PRU15 is already UMNO’s and BN to win.
