What would you want Anwar to do?

He is at Friday prayers. Let us say, for argument's sake, after Friday prayers, DSAI is informed that a Hindu youth is to be converted....and let us say that he is invited to be present at the ceremony....maybe even invited to perform the conversion....an honor accorded to him simply because by seniority, he deserves that honor.

What is he to do? Refuse? Or does in, in all sincerity, accept the honor and perform, the conversion out of the goodness of his heart? For the convert, it will be an occasion that will make his conversion memorable and for everyone else, they would see it as they would want to see it. For me, it is just Anwar being Anwar.

Veni Vidi Vici....he came, he saw, and he conquered....meaning that for Anwar, at that moment in time, he saw an occasion that he could make his own...and that is what he did...carpe diem...and he seized the moment and made that moment his. He might have done it as Anwar Ibrahim. He might have done it as a Muslim, and he might have done it to make political capital out of that moment. Whatever your take on the situation, it is just Anwar being Anwar. No malice intended!

Now, this next image is a bit more complicated. The first question asked by Dr Kamsiah is "What ever for?". I do not know when the picture was taken, but the question that Dr Kamsiah asks is relevant. Why Datuk Seri, are you in that picture?
