Di Putrajaya: Tidak ada bumbung attap! Tidak ada perbezaan party. Kita ada kekuatan!

Selamat Pagi Malaysia.

It is always in the early hours of the morning that clarity and structure enter my often crowded, old, and tired brain. At this time the silence is deafening for nothing moves around me. Even the air that I breathe is conspiring with the silence. It hangs around me quietly and allows itself to be drawn into my body with every breath that I take, willingly and without any protest. In such a state of mind, being steadyaku47 is easy...and so I write.

If anything is to define Anwar Ibrahim, it has to be his willingness to subject himself to scrutiny and questioning by anyone - on anything. You have to question his reason for doing so. Is he supremely confident of his ability to handle himself, off the cuff, under any circumstance, and answer any question? Or does he do this because his courage and confidence in subjecting himself to public scrutiny is born out of the belief that he is doing his best to make good of a bad situation that he has inherited from past political leaders who are many times removed from the individual that Anwar Ibrahim is.....that of a leader that walks the talk.

Whatever his motives, no matter his reasons, we are all now entering uncharted waters. The Media, you and me, and even the odd Indian student can now question our prime minister one-on-one on anything we want. How refreshing is that?

The above video is a case in point. We have Anwar, Zahid, and Fadillah on stage, taking questions on...what else....tebuk attap lah!

Anwar's reference to 'monthly tebuk attap' sessions by the opposition makes us smile, and yet we know that these 'monthly tebuk attap sessions are taking its toll on the rakyat if not on the Madani government. The Opposition seeks to divide and rule using race and religion. The opposition seeks to unseat the PMX led Madani government not through the ballot, but by insurrection and other treasonous acts.

How does PMX deal with the threats?

PMX and his two deputy prime ministers are on stage to answer every question thrown at them....and listen to their replies...unscripted and surely unrehearsed. They tell us that "di Putrajaya, tidak ada bumbung attap" Yes, there are differences of opinion among the coalition partners that make up the Madani Unity government. That is to be expected but "belum ada sekali pon, ketelegahan atas nama perbezaan party". Translation: There are ideological differences but they have unity in purpose. They all want what is best for Malaysia.

So do we kan?

Enough said.
