DSAI has to dismantle the silos of separation and systemic suspicion built by Dr M.

Brother,

You juxtaposed the report on the 'plundering idiot' with an assessment of the unity government DSAI inherited, I keep saying, a mess.

He has somewhat compounded the mess. His choice of education and health ministers wasn't the best. He could give up the finance portfolio on November 24 when he completes a year in office to someone like Rafizi, the uncut diamond in his cabinet. He should appoint Dr Dzulkifli to take health.

There are far too many embassies given our precarious finances. A complete rationalisation exercise for our foreign policy is long overdue. Our focus should be on ASEAN and CHINDIA- two countries that were not given sufficient importance by Dr M- partly because of his jaundiced view of these communities in our beloved country.

DSAI has to be more proactive in integrating Sabahans & Sarawakians into the federal administration and give higher priority to attracting other minorities into the teaching and uniformed services. We need to build a Malaysia where everyone has an enhanced sense of belonging and community. DSAI has to dismantle the silos of separation and systemic suspicion built by Dr M.
