DSAI, Tawfik, Waytha, Tambun a united opposition and Plan B.

Always, when the ascendancy is with him, DSAI falters.

It does not take rocket science for one to work out that the Opposition is ahead of BN in the lead-up to PRU15. All electoral roads led to PH and DSAI as we looked towards them for leadership and consolidation of Opposition forces to ensure that BN will not win PRU15.

Instead, DSAI announced that PH will do PRU15 alone. Tawfik and Waytha were also cast aside, and for reasons best known to him, DSAI decided that he will stand in Tambun. So far so bad.

And now we are talking about Plan B if DSAI fails in Tambun.

Not good for a man who, just a week ago, was nominated by PH, as their choice for PM.

Polling day is still three weeks away. Three weeks in politics, with a general election looming, is a long time for DSAI to endure.

Let us wish him well. We hope that DSAI will have the wisdom to put together a united opposition front to go head-to-head against BN in PRU15 so that we will take back what is rightfully ours after PRU14 - the mandate to govern.
