Govt pay16K per month to 222 MPs and 11K per month to 70 ADUN!

When YAB PM touched on the increasing financial burden that the government has to bear for emoluments and pension payments ... many netizens commented .... among the most accurate and best comments I read were ....

The most burdensome pensions are actually on high -paid politicians (even higher allowances than salaries!) Such as the posts of PM, DPM, MB, KM, Minister, Exco, Member of Parliament and Member of State Assembly.

Ask them to be delisted as civil servants and disqualified from receiving the pension scheme because by only holding office for 60 months ... they are eligible to receive a full pension ... compared to KTA who has to work for 240 months to qualify for a pension ...

Try YAB PM see an example of emoluments for cabinet ministers alone as many as 25 people:

1) Basic Salary = RM18,000

2) Kerainan Allowance = RM10,500

3) Housing Allowance = RM10,800

4) People's Representative Allowance = RM10,650

5) Parking Allowance = RM5,700 (They don't even pay to park the vehicle, so it's free to come with an official vehicle, kelentong ajee)

TOTAL AMOUNT = RM55,650

The government also pays emoluments of RM16,000 per month to 222 Dewan Rakyat Members and RM11,000 per month to 70 Dewan Negara Members.

Imagine every term (once every 5 years) the elected representatives change and they are all long-lived like Tun then how much is the pension cost for these former elected representatives?

This is more wasteful and burdensome compared to low -paid civil servants such as a grade 11 general assistant with a salary of RM1,216 and after serving more than 30 years, his salary is as low as RM2,983. So the pension is only up to RM1,491.50 a month for 15 years (after the age of 60) if we take the life expectancy of Malaysians up to 75 years.

Note 1: The Minister's Vehicle Parking Allowance is higher than the Grade 44 salary!

Note 2: If the lowest grade salary of a government employee is RM1,500 including allowances then the salary of a minister is equivalent to 37 grade 11 general assistants.

Politicians who hold jwtn on the appointment of voters ... not to defend the fate of the people but to defend their own destiny ... this must be corrected ... not to mention that they are taking advantage of other opportunities to make a profit ....
