Hollywood star Raquel Welch dies aged 82



Hollywood actress Raquel Welch has died aged 82 after a short illness.

She became a film icon and international sex symbol in the 1960s, and was perhaps best known for her role in Fantastic Voyage.

Welch died early Wednesday (US time), her manager confirmed. Details about the illness were not released.
