Leadership, or the lack of it in PH!

PRU 14 saw the electorates voting in a Pakatan Harapan Government. I reiterate a PAKATAN HARAPAN government. Yes, there was Tun Mahathir and Bersatu. There was Kit Siang and DAP. Amanah and Mat Sabu. Azizah and PKR, but all things considered, the rakyat voted PH to do government. Never at any time during the run-up to PRU14 was there any doubt that the rakyat was Pakatan Harapan and Pakatan Harapan was the rakyat. That was possible because the collective wisdom of the opposition then was the need to have one political entity to represent everyone and everyone to represent one political entity: PH, to the credit of all the political egos within the PH coalition, there was still unity in diversity. And the leader of this coalition was Tun Mahathir. Again, no doubt about that reality.

Fast forward to today.

Malaysian are fed up of politics. Much more then they were fed up of politics in PRU 14. Fed up enough to want to vote for anyone that can bring about a change for the better. But who will they vote for? Why has the coalition not coalesce into one united pakatan with one able and capable leader who can unquestionably lead the coalition into PRU15 and win it for PH? We have a leader for the Opposition, but we do not have a leader to lead us in PRU15.

DSAI has not shown that leadership capability in PRN Malacca. Johor will be more of the same thing. You can come up with 1001 reasons why PKR needs to go into PRN Johor under its own banner.

I can give you one reason it should not.

If you are part of the PH coalition, of which PKR is....then you contest under the PH banner. Anything else would mean that the PH leader is not able to hold the coalition together. Now if the PH leader who cannot hold the PH coalition together is also the leader of the coalition member - PKR - that wants to contest the Johor PRN under its own banner, then I say that that leader can not only hold the PH coalition together but, he also cannot hold PKR together. He loses at both ends of the spectrum. That man is DSAI.

We need to talk about moving forward. Moving forward as Pakatan Harapan. Moving forward under one banner, Pakatan Harapan's banner. Anything else is non - negotiable.
