Mael Bera - Be Afraid. Be Very Afraid!

There was never any doubt that Zahid Hamidi was ever implicated in the scandalous excesses of 1MDB. His only failing in 1MDB was his loyalty to his predecessor, Najib Razak. Loyalty to one’s predecessor/former Boss, even if misplaced, is surely a trait to be lauded than condemned, kan?

Love him or hate him, Zahid Hamidi has got powerful friends in and outside of Umno! Just hours into his acquittal, he received congratulatory messages from the Ambassadors of Qatar, Oman, Germany, and the High Commissioners of Singapore, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and Australia expressing their hope for a similar outcome in his other coming trial at the KL Court. And I have been informed by reliable sources, that more messages of the same genre are coming from the representatives of other governments!

I have mixed emotions about Zahid Hamdi’s acquittal. Is justice served? Has justice been denied? Is Justice delayed, or has justice been compromised? Time will tell, but already we know that the Attorney General is walking gingerly on eggshells...

Forty bribery charges and not one stuck?

Has the prosecution erred big time? But then again, if there is any doubt in the minds of the Judge of the integrity of even one witness, that is reason enough for an acquittal, kan?

Cash money…aka “political donations” from UKSB went to a hell of a lot of guys. Under questioning from the defense lawyer Datuk Ahmad Zaidi Zainal, , UKSB administrative manager David Tan Siong Sun told the High Court that the entries he had made in a ledger he owned for bookkeeping purposes, cash payments were made by UKSB to various politicians, government staff and Ahmad Zahid himself, included Mahathir and Mahyuddin.

Ahmad Zaidi: So this morning you have established that both Tun Dr Mahathir and Tan Sri Muhyiddin have received political funds?
Tan: Yes.
Ahmad Zaidi: Datuk Seri Zahid also received political funds, do you see Tun Dr Mahathir and Tan Sri Muhyiddin sitting beside the accused in the dock?
Tan: No.

The above exchange says it all. Zahid Hamidi was not the only one receiving those “political donations”. That f**king gravy train sure made a. lot of f**king stops!

And you have to agree with Zahid Hamidi that the court of public opinion has been primed, cajoled, and had eagerly allowed itself to be persuaded by whoever and whatever out there, to pronounce his guilt prematurely kan? So how did the rakyat and the media get it all so wrong? Ajaib tapi benar kan?

Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, and able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, Zahid Hamidi is back! Ismail Sabri ….be afraid. Be very afraid.
