Mael Bera - Confused, Overwhelmed and Lost. Does He Know He is PM?

Selamat Pagi Malaysia! It is now 6.49 am. Thursday 19th May 2022. Melbourne. Cold. Very cold.

Mael....what's with the clenched fist raised up in the air?

Are you feeling like the all conquering hero just back from a triumphant battle where you slayed the barbarians gathered at the gates of our nation? Or are you declaring victory against the forces of evil now plundering, pillaging and causing mayhem and destruction across this long-suffering beloved nation of ours?

Or is this another one of your attempts at giving yourself some oomph, some much-needed substance and credibility in a so far, lack luster Mael Bera era of government?

I remember the 50 plus cavalcade of cars that you assembled to follow you up North days after you became PM. I remember the MOU you signed, with a flourish, with Pakatan Harapan - the same MOU that you hailed as being a historic attempt by the Government and the Opposition to work together for the good of King and Country.

And amidst all this 'happenings' who can forget your fashionable attire:

Your endorsements of questionable products, and the rise and rise of your son-in-law from a fashionista to a wannabe businessman?

And recently, we all heard your sigh of relief as you somehow negotiated your way through the recent Umno General Assembly and emerged, at least for the time being, as still the PM.

Not only that, but (drum roll), the Umno Court Cluster, and Umno, pledged to support you to continue as PM after PRU15 (presuming that BN wins PRU15 lah!).

Hell, your President, Zahid Hamidi, even reminded Tok Mat that he must wait his turn to be PM after PRU16.

Is that reason enough for the clenched fist on your return from the US to signify that you are Master of all that you survey?

Hold on for a bit Mael. Not too fast. You are not out of the woods yet!

That 'party hopping' no no that you agreed to with Pakatan Harapan is also a no no for the Umno Court Cluster kan? Because without frogs, there will be no Umno?

Did anything of any significance came out of the MOU you signed with DSAI? Zilch. Nothing. Zero, Kosong. Nothing worth talking about resulted from that MOU kan.

Just as, nothing came out of the trip that you just made to the US except that it must have made you feel very important about being fussed over by others while you were on that trip. At least you got to give that clenched fist salute on your return to the Tanah Air......Jokowi got this:

So far.. ..no good has come out of it, except that your son-in-law is now in business. You seem to be enjoying your time in the spotlight. Enjoy it while you can. You and Mahiaddin are what we call "Accidental Prime Ministers"...holding on to jobs that you do not deserve nor are able to do. About the only thing you might be able to leave as your legacy to the nation is simply this : ensure that the wheels of Justice turns much, much faster and jail that Convicted Felon before Merdeka.
