Nurul Izzah - appointed Economic and Financial advisor to PMX?

Temasek Holdings is Singapore's state sovereign wealth fund/ state investment arm, with a net portfolio value of over S$300 billion. Ho Ching led Temasek Holdings for 17 years. Ho Ching is the wife of Lee Hsien Loong, Singapore's third prime minister.

Abdullah Badawi served as Prime Minister of Malaysia from October 2003 to April 2009. During Abdullah tenure as prime ministership, Khairy Jamaluddin rose to prominence within UMNO and Malaysian politics generally. He became the deputy chief of UMNO's youth wing and served as a close personal adviser to Abdullah. Khairy was alleged to be running the country's government through his control of the 'Fourth Floor Boys' – a group of young professionals who manned the policymaking unit of the PM's office. Khairy Jamaluddin is the son-in-law of Abdullah Badawi.

Mahathir bin Mohamad served as the 4th and 7th Prime Minister of Malaysia and held office for 24 years. During Mahathir's tenure as prime minister, Mukhriz Mahathir served twice as the 11th and 13th Menteri Besar of Kedah. Mukhriz Mahathir is the son of Tun Mahathir.

So what's the problem with Nurrul Izzah appointment as the Economic and Financial adviser to her father, PMX10 ?

At the very least, to quote a friend, "she is very honest and will not condone the nonsense in the Ministry of Finance!" Enough said!
