PERSPECTIVE: The Malays are kind people, our brethren, our family.

Mastermind.

Personally, I honestly hope that the Malay brethren would administer and continue to administer the country. They are comparatively more compassionate, more willing to listen, and believers of amicable settlements in any situation. But their compassions had been hoodwinked into weaknesses, they were told to isolate amongst human beings through forms of identity, suiting the needs of the propagandists. Justice, they were told, is not universal and so a set of religious laws must be upheld for themselves. They are taught to behave in line with a collective identity, individualism is a sin, they were told. And because many gullible ones took in these prolonged and persistent propaganda hook line and sinker, their society is now torn apart between those who realised and those who are not. The effects of the sepet as boogeyman for unity's sake is diminishing, amongst themselves divisions through religious indoctrination becoming severe by the hours. Yet there's no mechanism in their society to correct their own problems, and only god knows what would happen next.

They are kind people, our brethrens, our family. Their ustaz told them that their religion is the only truth yet they are told to isolate themselves against the infidels, instead of sharing the truth. It is unfortunate, but that doesn't mean that the teachings of Islam is wrong just because some fools play around with it.
