PERSPECTIVE: THE NEED FOR A "MALAYSIAN AGENDA" TO BENEFIT ALL.

It's peculiar how a population residing in an illegal space for generations now demands its rights despite being allowed to cultivate the area for farming without receiving proper land titles from the government, akin to the Felda settlers.

Despite numerous efforts to empower the Malays through Malay congresses and the New Economic Policy (NEP) with significant investments, only a few have truly benefited.

Senator Ti Lian Ker rightly emphasizes the necessity for a Malaysian agenda that aids all citizens, ensuring prosperity for everyone, rather than exploiting political gains or serving opportunists.

The substantial funds allocated through the NEP should have ideally provided not just land titles but significant wealth to all Malays. Instead, a select few have prospered under the policy, while those in power have misused the nation's resources, accumulating immense wealth for their families for generations.

It's reasonable to ask why these influential figures don't share their wealth or business profits to uplift the less fortunate, starting with supporting these illegal settlers of Kampung Setia Jaya.

Their declarations of income and assets might shed light on their staggering wealth compared to those they claim to represent.

Examining their lavish lifestyles, opulent homes, claimed gifts, assets through proxies, and extravagant possessions like horses, yachts, and holiday retreats could reveal much and act as a necessary disinfectant for the country's current afflictions.
