RAISYA NEEDS OUR HELP

Hi, I'm Nuruddin from Malaysia. Both my wife; Syafiqah & I are university students.

My family were in Clayton, Melbourne in December 2022 for 1 week to attend my elder brother’s graduation in the University of Melbourne. Unexpectedly, my wife had premature birth during the visit. The baby was admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit & needs to stay at the Monash Medical Centre in Clayton for approximately 8 - 10 weeks. The rest of my family has returned to Malaysia. My wife and I are allowed to stay at Ronald McDonald House Charities while our baby is an inpatient. When baby Raisya is discharged in the second half of February, we can no longer stay at the McDonald house but we are thankful as someone has kindly offered accommodation in Clayton. Our baby is not fit to fly back till mid-March & still needs checkups and treatment till then. Due to the unexpected circumstances, my family is facing huge medical expenses. The hospital bill alone till 4/1/2023 is $66 326.15 (not including radiology, pathology & doctors fees). We expect the total bills to be over $250 thousand AUD. Any monetary support from you would definitely be of great help for baby Raisya & we are forever grateful to you. We will stop the collection once it reaches the target of the amount which is yet to be confirmed by the hospital. We also humbly ask for your graciousness to spread this message.
