Remember upon the conduct of each depends the fate of all.

Selamat Pagi Malaysia.

There are always two, three or more sides to any argument, any debate any dissenting views that we may choose to be involved in. And for those who know how to write, they can write good or bad on just about any subject they choose. And fake news is out there with a vengeance seeking to convert the gullible, the fence sitters and even to convert the converted to their false narrative. In this blog space my intent is to listen, learn, respect and accept dissenting views on all matters, and when I am moved to do so, share my thoughts on issues that moves me, and all this, I will try to do with grace and decorum.

By what I write, post and share of others in this blog space, you may think that I am pro this or anti this. That I am for this and against that. DON’T. Do not try to second guess my thoughts and intents. Go with the flow and let us all learn what we can from others and make our own observations of all things around us, but in making those observations and having our own thoughts and beliefs, be mindful of what others think. Listen and learn.

Let us all celebrate our individualism for we are all different, and yet, let us be united and celebrate our diversity. Nothing gives me greater happiness and satisfaction than to walk into a food court with a group of friends and each of us would have to choose from an array of dishes - Nasi Lemak, Fried Kueh Teow, Roti Canai, Satay, Steaks, Chicken Rice, Chicken Curry, Briyani…..only in Malaysia. Only in Malaysia! So guys, let life be just that…enjoy but be mindful that upon the conduct of each of us depends the fate of all of us.

I was born in the 60s, went to school in 70s and grew up in those period of harmony. Went to colonial schools, and all races are friends and simply never thot of what race is. I had great time with Chinese and Indian friends and none that i could recall incidences of racism. It is the politicians of all parties that started to instil hatred amongst the followers. Non Malays started to argue on bumiputera privileges without trying to understand history... and started to provoke each other. All by politicians. I am one of those bumiputera that gotten scholarship to study abroad but i have non Malays friends that would make fun of my degree saying that our degree is useless as we will all be graduated as government will help get us to graduate no matter what. This is their perception. It is a sad world. Now retired, i just gave up totally on Malaysia. Just enjoying my final life journey with kindness and no hatred. We are one big happy family despite.
