Selamat Pagi Malaysia.19th November 2022. Undi, jangan tak undi!

Morning has broken.

How many of us begin the morning with dread for what the day will bring?

From the fall of Pakatan Harapan in February 2020, politics have become our daily bread.

Not for sustenance but a dull continuous burden that we have had to endure as we eke out a miserable living in the difficult times that we are now living in. Politics has touched our lives in so many troubling ways. At times, it even threatens to take away the only thing left within us: HOPE. Hope for a better life. Hope that there will be better times ahead.

Can we endure any more of politicians behaving badly? Will there be a future left for our next generation if the corruption, the arrogance, and the abuse of almost everything we hold dear and precious, do not stop?

Every day there are provocative issues that trouble us greatly, and more tales of abuse and misuse of public office, to read. Surely we cannot continue to be like this for much longer. It must, somehow, stop. This is not what we need in our lives.

Too right!

Our country is moving sideways, and we are unsure where it is heading to. We have been told that there will be a general election on November 19th, but no one has told us what will happen after polling day. Who will do government? How they will do government? And will we, the rakyat, matter after PRU15?

I may not know who will do government after PRU15, but this much I know.

Each of us must decide what we want for ourselves, what we want for our nation, and what we must now do if the future we want for ourselves and for our future generations is to become a reality.

All the sums of the horrible past that we have gone through in these recent decades will be exorcised if we choose responsible leaders who will do government for the people, of the people, and by the people. We may decide these things individually, but together we must make it happen on polling day, 19th November.

That vote you cast on 19th November can begin the process of change that you have wanted to happen from that day in February 2020 when the people you elected into government lost their mandate to govern to others whom you have NOT voted to do government. This is not impossible to do. We have done it before, and we must do it again at PRU15.

Now you will ask me who shall you vote to do government.

There is only one answer to that question. ABU. Anything but Umno. Whatever you do, ABU, ABU, and again ABU. Do that and we will be alright come PRU15.
