Selamat Pagi Malaysia....

My Mac died on me last week. To try and keep costs down, I took it to an Asian Computer shop in Richmond. Two days later he said I better take it to an Apple Store. Not to be deterred I took it to another Asian computer repair shop in Smith Street just a few minutes away from where I am. It was a small one man hole in the wall kind of place - but the service was great and he charged me what he estimated the costs to be - AUD$300. After a week of not doing any work on my blog, I decided to take another day off and only started that post "TSMY - Despised, Loathed and Alone" at 4am this morning and posted it first thing this morning.

That one week break from blogging was needed by me just so that I did not got too involved with the political conundrum seething under the surface in Bolehland. Nothing has changed since Malacca. If anything is to be said about the political situation in Malaysia it is this : The powers that be in Umno knows what they are doing. They have a plan. They have the Network and of course, they have the fulus. Long story short, Johor will be another Malacca for Umno - only more surgical, more total and the taking back of what was once BN, continues unabated and unencumbered by any other consideration except one : going it alone in PRU15.

The rotting carcasses of Pas and Bersatu are being jettisoned with glee and much waving of goodbyes and two fingers salute for Hadi and TSMY. Lessons learned? In future endeavours, find partners or enter into coalitions with equitable partners or better still, with partners that you can get rid off without to much damage inflicted upon your own good self.

Tun Mahathir is well and stirring. He needed no spokesman to tell us all that. He did it himself. He still looked a bit frail but even if the body is not that willing, the mind is as sharp as ever. As for those who prematurely celebrated Tun's retirement for politics...two words for them : Tough Titties. The old man is as tough as they come and in his case, age is indeed just a number.

Me? At 75 I have gone off my medication for my gout because it seems to have gone away for good, but my Hernia and some parts of my body (which part is for me to know lah) are always reminding me that age does not only bring with it wisdom...but also pain, aches and seats on trams. Seats on trams because even the pretty girls will give up their seats to you because they can see that you need to seat down before you collapsed with the effort of just climbing onto the Tram. And usually after giving up their seats for you, they will stay close by just in case you need to be helped getting up from the seat at the next stop. Such is life at 75 for some of us, while others at 95 are talking about wanting to go back to work at the PMO in Putrajaya.

Contrary to popular belief, PRU15 is not around the corner. No Sir! PRU15 is a clear and present presence that threatens to make Mael Bera the shortest termed PM ever! Tell you what...I will even go further than that...PRU is imminent. And if that Pakatan Harapan coalition of old is not yet ready to do battle with BN in the next few months or weeks even, then the BN juggernaut will go North after PRN Johor, then take the first turning right , and if my calculations is right, BN will find itself in Putrajaya quicker that you can say dokpidokmi tangtujugak Enough said.
