The Folly of Fools...

We are past the simplicity of good versus evil. We now have fools who think they are good. Fools who are ready with the answers to questions that no one asks.

Who asked Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob about his US trip?

I did not. I can read the media reports that says what the Indonesian President did and did not do. And I know what our Prime Minister did, and did not do. Ismail Sabri knows he is out of his depth. He knows that nothing in his life had prepared him for this moment in time when he has the US President besides him, and he knows he does not know what to do.

Here is the thing about the above image. On the right, I see the President of the United States, Joe Biden. On the left, I see a man immaculately attired by his fashionista son-in-law, but he is frozen in fear at finding himself in a position far, far away from anything that he has ever experienced. He is a fish out of water, desperate to project the image that he is cool and in control of himself, when inside, he is scared shitless.

What is Mael thinking?

The teller of truth that is in his head tells him : Mael do not make a fool of yourself but he already knows himself to be just that, a fool.

We have a convicted felon dubbed a national embarrassment, deceiving himself to be Boossku and innocent of all charges. We have the Umno Court Clusters all facing innumerable criminal charges, all pleading their innocence. And now we have Mael just back from the US, telling us that he has done himself proud on the world stage.

And isn’t that the most tragic of lies…the one you tell yourself and believe it to be true!
