The Ugly Malaysian!

We are better than this!

Maybe I come from a time when the people I know, the people I call friends and the people that I am familiar with, will consider it rude and ill mannered to talk of someone, any one, in the above manner. And to talk of some one, who is 95, in that manner? Surely your parents taught you better manners?

But these days, the anonymity afforded by social media allows for one to post such crass thoughts on an elder statesman who was responsible in leading PH to defeat Umno for the very first time in its over six decades of political hegemony over Malaysia and Malaysians. Tapi Malaysians mudah lupa.

It is time you guys with so much hate and odium in your heart take stock of your situation. I am no racists but if ever the individual who put up the above signage is ever identified, I am sure there will be a few Malaysians who will want to do physical harm to your person - no matter if you are a Chinese, an Indian or a Malay. I personally have no tolerance for these kind of hate and odium to be perpetrated on any one!

The anger within me and a few of my friends for the above slight on Tun Mahathir is palpable and needs venting. That is why I am writing this piece now before I go to sleep. I hope by morning, I will be a better person and have no need to seek out the errant individual who is responsible for the above. Enough said.
