Panas !!! Tajuddin ‘berang’ dilayan seolah-olah ‘orang tepi jalan’.

Ahli Parlimen Pasir SalakTajuddin Abdul Rahman menyifatkan kritikan terhadapnya berhubung pelantikannya sebagai Duta Besar Malaysia ke Indonesia sebagai tidak adil. Oleh itu katanya, dia tidak mahu mengulas kritikan orang ramai terhadapnya dan mengambil pendekatan berdiam diri buat masa ini.

If both government have agreed to the appointment of Din as our Ambassador to the Court of Pak Jokowi, there is nothing we can do about it, except hope, that he can do a good job.

Our govt, of whatever political shade, have always preferred to send political appointees to Jakarta, Pakistan and Washington because they have to interface with generals in Jakarta and Pakistan, and senators in Washington. We need our ambassadors to be au fait with their leaders. There are parties, balls, dinners to attend, and then the smoking of cigars and wining to do. I am sure Din will be in his elements when doing these Ambassadorial duties in Jakarta.

Once he is in Jakarta, he would assess the situation and act accordingly with the help of embassy officials. He will soon get to know the power brokers, ministers, captains of industry to whom he will present our interest and I just got the feeling that Din will be able to mix it up with the big boys in Jakarta.

Already he is learning to be a Diplomat! "Saya tidak mahu buat kenyataan menceceh sana sini dan cuma urut dada membaca macam-macam yang orang tulis" Maybe...just maybe, this is a job Din will grow into.

And Din, it would help if you engage your otak more before you engage your mouth. Jangan marah Din, nasihat aja from me. Salam.
