Today it is Daim. Who is next?

How sad....at a time when one is entitled to enjoy the fruits of one's labor or ill-gotten gains.....

At a time when age alone should already confer upon you the respect of your peers, the reverence of your underlings, and those who are indebted to you for the good things they have in life..... you are instead facing charges of abuse of power, probably money laundering, and maybe corruption too.

Avarice and unbridled greed are a life curse.

Diminutive, discreet, somewhat distinctive, and distinguished but obviously dubious Abdul Daim has always operated in the shadowy side and shade of nominees, proxies, associates, frontmen and every other conceivable level of layering. The MACC has taken years, possibly decades to investigate and must have looked at every possible angle before embarking on this mission to proceed on the ownership of Ilham Tower. This is a matter that requires careful handling as its success will pave the way for the government to acquire other assets acquired through corruption and other illegal means. Also investigation on purchases or land transfers done in Langkawi over the last 25 years when Daim was in charge of LADA. Got to interview the sellers on what terms they got. So with YB Suhaimi there, it will be easier to get the state Land Office to cooperate esp when it comes to investigating Daim.

We are not jealous of rich Malays. But we only want to know how Daim and the family got so rich and in what business and the taxes paid. Also his control on UMNO funds, any interest in Mitsui bank vis a vis Prince Court sale to IHH, and the Malaysian consulate land in Hong Kong. We need some transparency.
