Who will rein in the Royals, appoint a Chinese as FM or Appoint TT as AG?

Every time I write about Tun…I get the above sort of comments.

Cee Kay CK can you look around you today. Can you see what is happening? Will these sorts of happenings occur in a Malaysia under Tun’s watch - whether he is PM during a BN or a PH government?

Has any other PM rein in the Royals. Will any other PM has the audacity to put a former PM on trial? Will another PM appoint a Chinese as Finance Minister. Will another PM appoint a non-Malay as Attorney General. Will any other PM bring back Hamid Bador into PDRM and appoint him as IGP?

Under Tun, do you not think that Serba Dynamik, Sapura directors and any other erreant company directors, will be called upon by the relevant authorities to explain what abuse they have done to the companies they manage? And MACC…will Azam Baki even be allowed to sit on the chair of the Commissioner, what more become Commissioner of MACC?

Tun is not perfect, but he is far from being a racist. He has made it clear that he intends to be the leader of the Malays in PH, and he wants to make sure that the Malay votes will be cast for PH. He is not being a racist - he is being a realist. PH needs a Malay dominated party to lead it in any PRU - and Tun Mahathir has said that that would be his responsibility. Tun is a political animal who understands what it will take to win the votes of the Malays, and he goes about getting those votes without any apologies.

Sincerity in Malaysian politics is a variable component that exists only if it compliments the political agendas of those involved. Corruption, arrogance and greed exists in government under Tun or not under Tun, but under Tun Mahathir there is some semblance of order and common sense prevails. Corruption, as it exists under Najib, does not exist under Tun Mahathir.

Whether you are a Malay, Chinese, Indian and others, there are limits to the excesses of politicians, their families and cronies. Ministers understand that the wrath of Tun Mahathir is best not invited by their inability to meet his expectations. You toe the line. You do your work, and you are answerable and punishable for your sins and errors. As for Mahathir himself, he knows his responsibilities and duties and adhere to what is expected of him by the rakyat. There is structure in government. Our expectation of government, are, for the most part, met.

Mahathir on hi worst days, is a much better PM that Najib on his best days. But like all things good, we are never conscious of its loss until we are without it. Enough said.
