Why Are The Rakyat Silent?

Selamat Pagi Malaysia.

If the head rots, the whole body rots eventually. There are many heads to be rid off.

Najib as PM, Isa Samad at Felda, Azeez di Tabung Haji, SPRM, PDRM all lapdogs of their political masters, Ministers making money out of vaccines and face masks, a Convicted Felon conducting government, Umno Court Clusters, Mr Sultan down South appointing his own MB, the list goes on.

Disappearing pastors. Murder of a Mongolian national, the opposition entering into a pact with the Government to keep the Government in Government! I can make a list of what these thieves and robbers have done and are doing now, that will stretch from Perlis to the Causeway in Johor.

Every day, unimaginable carnage and mayhem comes into our way of life and into our once graceful and diverse community, inflicting us all with the obnoxious culture of greed that transcends everything that we once hold dear. Greed that overcomes all of our sensibilities. And just when we think there cannot be any more troubles that can come our way because our sensibilities can no more handle another assault on our senses….this week along comes the debacle in Dubai, Sirim’s approved required for Facemask, and how many times have the anti-hopping bill been postponed? How many more times will it be postponed? And God knows what the coming days will bring.

We have a prime minister under the thumb of a convicted felon and taking instructions from the Umno president. We have a Cabinet of Ministers from a coalition of political parties that are now at war with each other. Every one making hay while the sun shines because every one of them knows that PRU15 will see them all out of office. The business of Government has stopped.

Yesterday we see long lines of desperate people lined up to withdraw RM$10k from their EPF accounts. For some, that money will go towards paying loans. For some, that money will go towards giving out loans to families and friends who are in more dire need than them. For every one of them, at most, the money will give temporary respite, not solve their financial woes - at worse that money will not be enough to pay what they already owe.

And amidst these tales of hardship and abject poverty, the news from New York tells us of the US$4 billion borrowed by 1MDB to pay bribes and kickbacks.

Why are the rakyat silent?

Why, when you no longer have money to put food on the table…why are the people still trying to search for a way out by borrowing from friends? Why not agitate for change? Why not gather in groups and activate for the government to do something about your plight? If they do not listen, shout louder. If shouting does not do anything, ask yourself what else can you do?

March into Putrajaya. Tie up the traffic so that these corrupt politicians cannot go for their lunch. Cannot go home to their palatial homes after work. Go into their offices and ransack it. Find them and do bodily harm to them. Put the fear of God into them so that they know that they must do something to better the rakyats lot or face our wrath? Physically threaten to do these corrupt and greedy politicians bodily harm if they do not do what we want them to do! Surely that will make them understand their predicament? And what is to stop us from going to Najib’s house, get hold of him and send him straight to Sungai Buloh to begin his sentence now rather than later?

Let us disrupt their Cabinet meeting and hold them all hostages until they understand our resolve to rid ourselves of greedy and corrupt politicians and anyone else corrupt and greedy. Better to be shot dead by PDRM or the Army then to die a long, slow and lingering death that so many of us are now facing. What say you?
