With all due respect, brother...

Comment : "Very2 sad the way a PM confronts a young student……….. he treated her like a heavyweight opposition leader. What would be his response if someone were to ask him to compare a bumi and non-bumi from the same school in the city instead of comparing a non-bumi in the city and a bumi in kapit".

By now, how PMX responded to the question posed by the above young student, is all over the Net, and I will not pretend otherwise. Simply said, our PMX could have done better. Our PMX should not speak down to a young student who is earnestly searching for answers from her prime minister to a question that is a cause for concern and worry for many non-Malay students: Why are mediocre Malay students favored over non-Malay students who have done much better in their studies?

If truth be told, I know why. And so do many Malaysians...it has something to do with the government trying to help the Malays catch up with the non-Malays...but our PMX needs to explain that to the young student in a way that makes her understand why. And in this instance, for whatever reason, the legendary manner by which our PMX can easily charm anyone he chooses to, somehow desert him.

May I respectfully suggest that an apology from our PMX to that student would be a good start in trying to sort things out? Enough said.

P.S....If it is of any help, the next time I am in KL, I will try and meet with the same student and extend your apologies to her...boleh?
